Saturday 25th August was the starting date for the RSL Shield.  Once again the sponsors for this event are Mittagong RSL.   Despite a wet weekend the weather stayed clear for the first round.  In fact it was good to be playing without the strong winds which have been a feature this year.

The ten teams played “fours” on week one.  The results are posted below.  Best result of the week was the Russell Fahey led team who defeated Kel Limbrick’s team by 30 shots.  Other winners were teams lead by Dave Coltman, Paul Leverett, Greg Taylor and Clive Neutze.  Clive and team also had a great result with a 20 shot win.

Next Saturday the team leads play singles while the other three players are into triples.
