Bowral Bowling Club has two functions rooms, three bowling greens, a beer garden and a large lounge and bar area which provide an ideal reception space for any event. We cater to any size function and are open Tuesday-Sunday till late.
Whether you are planning a birthday, a presentation night, a fundraiser or a wake, with stunning views to Mt Gibraltar throughout the venue, the Bowral Bowling Club provides an outstanding option for your function.
The Bowral Bowling Club is a regular host for a number of businesses and business groups in the Southern Highlands.
Capacity and seating arrangements can be modified to suit your needs such as theatre style, board room style, class room style, U-shape and cocktail. Choose from the Conference Room, Stage Room or the combined space dependant on the style of event and number of attendees.
The Club can provide you with a microphone, lectern, whiteboard, and visuals can be connected to the TVs in room via an HDMI cable or USB stick. We have several catering options available including coffee stations, morning tea packages, seated lunch or grazing platters.

The Bowral Bowling Club is the perfect venue for community and charity fundraisers and presentation nights. Our large function space is capable of hosting up to 120 seated or 300 standing.

*18th and 21st Birthdays are booked at manager’s discretion. A security guard is required for the event, at the cost of the booking party. An adequate ratio of older adults to assist with supervision is required.

We would love to help you host your child’s birthday at the club!
All children’s birthdays are hosted as a private function in the large function room. Here the kids can be contained, run around and make as much noise as they like! We welcome children’s entertainers or you might like to organise some games such as pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey or musical chairs.
We will set you a table for all the yummy party food, a table for drinks plus tea and coffee should you choose it, and of course a cake table front and centre with plates, napkins and spoons. If you would like to bring any decorations please feel free, however all decorations must be removed at the end of the party. (No glitter or confetti please as it is impossible to clean up!)
Please note children’s birthdays are not to be hosted in the main clubhouse or the indoor soft play. This space is available for families when dining at the club, not organised events.
Our staff and management are very experienced in hosting wakes and we understand that making arrangements for any farewell needs to be as easy and as fuss free as possible.
Centrally located in Bowral, the venue also has ample parking and easy access on one level.
We have a comprehensive function platters menu with items to suit all tastes and requirements. Whether it be some finger sandwiches with tea and coffee or something more substantial, we’ve got you covered.

Have a large group who want to enjoy lunch or dinner with us and order from the main bistro? We’ve got you!
We can sit you in a semi-private space where you can eat, drink and be merry until your heart’s content! These bookings may require a booking deposit to be taken which will be refunded post event.
Please note large bookings (approx 25+) will likely be sat on the other side of the bar to the kids play area. We can set up the giant jenga and connect 4 in you space as well as provide colouring, however it is preferred to refrain children running back and forth across the clubhouse so all diners may enjoy the space.
For large group bookings we strongly advise a pre-order from our bistro or limited menu. An alternate drop option is available with our Casual Set Menu. Please get in contact with the nature of your group and our functions team will advise the most suitable option for your bookings.
Large bookings for Sunday lunch are available for an arrival time of 1pm or later.
