Week 2 of the Bowral Bowling Club RSL Shield was completed on Saturday 1st September.  The event is sponsored by the Mittagong RSL.  Saturday was  cool with a strong West to South West wind blowing (again).

The second week features the leads playing each other at singles for 31 ends.  The other three members of the team play triples.

Notable results in the singles.  Mick Flynn had a big win scoring 43 shots.  Kevin Stafford scored 38 and Dugald Braithwaite 37.  However, Kevin Jones played well to score 18 shots against Dugald.  Gordon Lewis and Brian Porter both scored 26 shots.  In Brian’s game, Keith Edwards allowed Brian 16 shots before scoring and then came chasing back to only lose by 1 shot.

In the Triples Greg Lewis team scored 50 shots and Ashley Lewis team 36 shots.  David Coltman and team managed 29 shots while all the rest of the games were quite even.

Table has Ashley Lewis leading  from Russell Fahey, third is Greg Lewis and David Coltman is close behind in fourth.
