The semi final of the Club Championship Singles was rained off with the score Jim Neely 26  and Oscar Whalin 20.  Jim had won the last three ends, scoring 7 shots and moving from19-20 to lead 26-20.

Play resumed on Sunday 24th March.  Oscar scored 11 shots to 2 to win 31-28.  Winning the last five ends helped Oscar to this great come from behind win.  I gather Jim Neely was suffering from a hip problem but as Oscar said “he still put down some b—y good bowls”.  The final is scheduled for Sunday 7th April at 10am.  Should be well worth a visit to the Club to watch this match.
