The Bowral Club Minor Singles has moved forward towards completion.  Brian Elliott was forced to forfeit to Alister McGhee due medical reasons.  I am sure he will be back for future events.  The semi final was therefore played between Alister and Bob Crowley. Bob had the better of the early ends to lead 12-4 after 10 ends.  13 shots to Alistair over the next 9 ends saw him take the lead 17-16.  Bob took 2 shots on the next end to regain the lead and then continued on winning  6 of the next 7 ends to win 31-20.  This place Bob into the final to meet the winner of Carl Spilker and Brian Porter.  This semi final should be played on the weekend of the 13/14 July.
