Sunday  11th August saw the Bowral Bowling Club Handicap Pairs quarter finals played.  Maybe not quite as cold as Saturday but still that bitter Westerly blowing.

Peter Watson and Peter Morales, after their come from behind win in the first round, had a comfortable win over Kel Limbrick and Brian Porter 31-11

Kevin Jones and Josh Woodcock defeated Ted McFee and Carl Spilker 22-20.  Twenty all on the twentieth end and two shots to the Woodcock team enabling a win by the narrowest of margins.

John Edmonds and Bob Edwards had a fifteen shot win over Keith Edwards and Don Coleman.  Final score was 30-15

Another tight game in the last of the quarter finals.  Mick Flynn and Nathan Boyers beat Chris Forrester and Gordon Lewis 25-21.  The Boyer team lead by one shot on the twentieth end, so it was a very close match  game.  Three shots by the Boyer team on the last end gave them a four shot win.

The semi Finals should be played next Sunday.
