  1. Unfortunately social bowls set down for today the 14th of August had to be cancelled due to the inclement weather.
  2. Weather permitting (and the forecast is much better for the weekend), the first round of the RSL Shield competition will be staged next Saturday August 17th commencing at 1pm. The draw to finalise the four man teams will take place at 12 noon.
  3. Members are reminded that the AGM of the Men’s Bowling Committee will take place on Sunday August 18th at 10 am. All bowling members are invited to attend. The new Committee for the 24/25 year will be President Terry Norwood, Vice-President Peter Flight, Committee Members Graham Hunt, Ted McPhee, Chris Forrester, Robin Staples, Ian Duncan and Richard Denman. All were elected unopposed.

Senior Men’s Regional Triples Competition

The wonderful news is that Bowral, represented by Stephen Della, Kevin Stafford and Mick Armstrong has won the Region (formerly Zone) Senior Men’s Triples competition. Hearty congratulations fellows! The trio will now represent the Region in the State finals around April  next year. The results of their games played at Camden and Campbelltown were:
