BBC CATCH-UP BROADCAST NOVEMBER 20th

BBC CATCH-UP BROADCAST NOVEMBER 20th     (Terry Norwood at the desk … almost!)

  1. The final of the Bowral Club Championship Mixed Pairs will be held on Sunday November 26th when Reta South and Bob Edwards take on Enid Brown and Ash Lewis. It should be a corker of a game.
  2. Bowlers have competed with some success in the recent Zone 5 Senior Pairs competitions. Stephen Della and Kevin Stafford made it through to the quarter finals where they ran into some very tough opponents. Ted McPhee and Ash Lewis went one better working their way through to the semi-final where they went down in a tight one 21 – 19.  Congratulations fellows on some fine bowling.
  3. The Club Fours and Triples competitions will be staged at the end of November so keep an eye out for the draw for each of those. There should be some very good bowls on show when those events get underway.
