Great!  Barring last minute hic ups Bowral Bowling Club should be holding men’s social bowls again on Wednesday 13th October at 1 pm.  Note that with the return of daylight saving bowls will revert back to the normal time of 1 pm.  A notice has been placed on the notice board for social bowls for Wednesday and Saturday 16th October.  The usual phone facility is also available.  A reminder that you would be surprised how difficult it is sometimes to decipher the callers name, so nice and slow and clear please, and repeating your name also helps.  It might be a good idea to visit the Club before Wednesday so that you can not only put your name down for Wednesday but also have the Manager tick you off as double vaccinated and this will quicken up entry on Wednesday.  Double vaccination is of course a condition of play and do not forget your mask for inside the Clubhouse.  Glen Geise will be organising the matches for a while as he is double vaccinated.  The Men’s Bowls Committee met on Saturday 9th October and have discussed the programme for the rest of the year.  Understand they have decided which events will take place in a shortened calendar.  First up will be the finish off the part completed Minor Triples and notices will follow of the other events to take place.  The notice board is clear at present so there should be no confusion when the entry forms appear.  So drag out those bowling shoes and let’s have a great turn out for the return of social bowls on Wednesday.
