The final major event of the season was held on Saturday 24th November 2018.  The Bowral Bowling Club Championship Fours was between the team comprising of Ashley Lewis, Russell Fahey, Russell Knight and Mick Spong against the team of Noel Fraser, Jim Neely, Carl Spilker and Dugald Braithwaite.  This team won the trophy last year with the difference that last year Carl Spilker played lead while this year he advanced to third.

The Braitwaite team played well to secure the trophy for the second year running.  Braithwaite team jumped out to a 10-1 lead after seven ends.   Four shots, then another two on the 10th and 11th end further increased the lead to a healthy 16-5.  The Spong team now staged a come back winning  seven of the next eight ends to come well within winning range at 17-15 down.  A win for the Spong team was not to happen as Braithwaite won the final two ends with a further six shots to finish winners 23-15.
