As member will know by now, as from 23rd March 2020 the Government restrictions has meant the closing of Bowral Bowling Club,   Notice of this closure is also on the “Home” page.  Also a link to the Club policy with regards to Covid 19.  This is dated 18th March and the bowling part would no longer apply.  However, there is valuable information regarding the virus and well worth a read.

I understand from the Bowls Secretary that the Board has met twice this week to discuss the situation.  Apparently there are circumstances where by golf club and the like are able to open the playing areas.  This is being investigated and if I hear anything I will update this news.  It seems that Victoria is pressing for a total lock down and should this happens in NSW then bowls will certainly not be happening.

Just so you do not forget about bowling below is a photo of Brian Porter in his epic tussle with Paul Leverett in the Club Championship Singles which he came close to winning but in the end fell short 30-31.  Brian said it was the best game he ever played .  Roll on the day when we can return to the greens.
