Bill Meredith and Gordon Lewis lost narrowly to Bill Pope and John Cummings 19-21.

So after two rounds the event leader is Ken Looke and Brian Payne on 56 shots with a 1 shot lead over this weeks winner Graham Hunt and Bob Edwards (55).  Third, on 50 shots, is Bill Pope and John Cummings.  There are another seven teams with scores in the forties.  The two teams with players from the Grade 2 teams are hovering in the mid forties and time will tell if the social players can continue to play well enough to hang onto the lead.
