A short update on news from Bowral Bowling Club.  Monday January 18th is confirmed as the date for the start of remedial work on the North green.  Also confirmed is that Club members will be requested to attend, probably during the afternoon, to help roll back the carpet.  A number of 25 members has been quoted, but remembering just how heavy that carpet is to move as many bowlers as possible would be appropriate.  Dates given for this assistance are the 18th, 19th and 21st of January.  So place those dates in your calendar and details of times will follow.

On Saturday January 16th there will be a Grade 2 Pennant Trial against Huskisson Bowling Club.  A copy of the notice on the Club Board is repeated below for your information.

Finally Notice of Entries for the 2021 Club Minor Singles is up on the Notice Board.  I understand that this event will be delayed, probably for a month, so that many more bowlers will be able to see this entry form and enter when they return to bowls at the end of January.  Closing date was going to be  28th January which is about the time everyone will return to bowls.  It would be good to start the season off on a good note with a large entry for this Club event.
