This Bowls News item is to give maximum notice of the upcoming Bowral Pennants Trial on Saturday 9th July at 12.30 pm.  The teams as selected are listed below.  The Grade 1 teams will play the Grade 4 teams while a further match of Grade 4 will also take place.  Reason for this unusual match up is that the Grade 4 team will have very strong opposition especially from Bundanoon and Taralga and an exacting match should sharpen up their reflexes.  The selectors are not suggesting that the Grade 1 will have a easy time in their matches.    If your name is not ticked off the game organizers have to spend ages on the phone trying to find out if players will be attending.  So please tick your name to show availability and do this by the specified time of Wednesday 6th July.

The notice for entries for the Bowral Minor Fours has also appeared on the Notice Board.  Since the nominated closing date is only a week away I have included this notice in Bowls News as well as in the “Draws and Results ” section.  Note play is supposed to start on Saturday 16th July.  Since this is the day of the Pennant trial match against Robertson and Bundanoon I imagine this date will change.  As usual watch the notice board.
