Results from the weekend of the 24th/25th October 2019. Actually, the results started on the Friday as the delayed Semi Final of the Club Fours was played on this day. Team Spilker played Team Morales with the Spilker team running out comfortable winners 29-14. Team Morales lead briefly at end 4 by 4-2. However, on the next end the Spilker team scored three shots and continued to pull away to that 29-14 win. Saturday had no Club matches as there were Rookie Pairs in progress. Just 13 members turned out for social bowls on a nice, if little windy day.
Sunday morning was round two of the Club Mixed Pairs. Interestingly the same four teams that had won on week one also won on week two and the order remains the same. Gail Fraser and Jim Neely lead from Sylvia Handley and Kevin Stafford. Third is Brian Porter and Rita South and Fourth Sue Brown and Harold Wall. Full results are in “Draws and Results”.
